James Allen's piece "without Sanctuary" brings forth a new perspective on what tiems where like when lynching "African Americans" seemed like a game. Allen's powerful and unforgetable words trap the readers in the moment and the craziness around, and makes us think how lucky we are to have everything we have and that it could have just as easily been the white people that were being lynched.
the pictures shown on the website make your stumache turn, it's despicable how people can treat other people as if they are not even humans. |

| Please do not take this site down. Every time I am feeling down and need cheering up I find respite in these pictures. I wish I were back there when we supported them and it did not cost that much. Now that they are "free" it cost me much more to support them and they now do nothing. |
