i think that, all these images and movies and stories of lynching are just horrific. but just think, if its really all that horrific to me, how must it have been for those either witnessing it, or were apart of it. it really disturbs me that our forefathers took part in this, and no matter how much we try to ignore or hide all this extreme racism, its still apart of our history, and maybe even apart of our lives today. just looking at the pictures, makes me cringe, and thats even before i realize the fact that im looking at real pictures, of real events, and real people. lynching is a terrible thing, and it hurts to say that its apart of american history.
