I was generally shocked from the pictures. I have studied history for years and knew this stuff happened, but I had never seen it. This website really shines a new light on the issue of lynching. Seeing it makes it more real and I think that anyone who thinks that lynching in the south was a minor problem or no problem at all should look at this website. I think it is a very good teaching tool for college students.
