Why does everyone automatically assume the "lynching comment" only
refers to blacks? Are black people the only humans in American history that have been lynched? What about horse theives, murderers, etc.?

I think people are so over-sensitive towards the race issue that the worst is assumed right off the bat. I realise that many blacks have been hung by hate and fear fueled racists in the past, but I don't think the lady meant it that way.

Another thing, there is NOTHING reverent about Al Sharpton. He just shows up when this kind of mess springs up and makes the situation WORSE and blows it way out of perportion.
