| Its amazing to see the people in the back ground standing around as if what just happened was the benefit of all in attendance. It disturbs me that this was my history of family members that grew up in the south, that this was their social norm. This was and still is a saddened time in America to stand by and allow such retched crimes to happen. Its something I think all americans need to see so they can picture their loved ones no matter what color of their skin so they can put themselves in the shoes of the oppressed. |

| It is crazy how people looked at these lynchings as just an ordinary gathering. I do can not believe that people could bring their children and families to such a horrific event. I can not believe that people lived their lives like this living to make other peoples lives miserable. |
