So many white people view these pictures and wish that African Americans would leave such vile images in the past. If that is so I would ask that they to would denounce the American Flag, denounce the Founding Fathers, and burn the Constitution. If our history must be obliterated in order to numb the masses, than our history should not be forced to go alone. After all if you do not dismiss the entire history of America slavery will simply rear its "ugly" head again.
Europeans did not build this nation alone, it was built on the back of my ancestors. Rather than turn our heads to pacify, let us look at OUR past together. Let us learn the Full American History together and then and only then will Martin Luther King's dream be a reality to its fullest extent, because right now there are too many of us going through the motions.
None of us were made bad, bad things have happened, and today the only ones to blame are the ones who perpetuate the ignorance and racism. |
